New App Lock Feature for Avira Antivirus Security for Android
Security company Avira recently announced that it updated Avira Antivirus Security, it security app for Google’s Android mobile operating system, to version 4.0.
Avira Antivirus Security for Android version 4.0 comes with a new App Lock feature. What it does is it protects your apps from being accessed by unauthorized users. Furthermore, it blocks an unauthorized user from installing new apps and uninstalling existing apps.
Security company Avira recently updated Avira Antivirus Security for Android and fitted it with a new App Locker feature. As the official description goes, “App Lock protects your apps from being accessed by unauthorized users of your device.”
App Lock lest you block access to any app that is installed on your Android. Let’s say that you don’t want someone to open the Facebook app. Open Avira Antivirus Security, access the App Lock feature, select the Facebook app, and select an App Lock PIN. Whenever someone wants to open the Facebook app, that someone will be prompted for the PIN.
That’s not all that App Lock can do. It also lets you protect your installed applications – it does not let others uninstall any app from your mobile. Furthermore, it doesn’t let others install new apps on your mobile.
