Remember Need for Speed, the game that was released in November 2015 for consoles and March 2016 for PCs, as a full reboot of the racing franchise?
Turns out it is a big hit, with players spending a massive amount of time on the roads of Ventura Bay, the fictional city where the action takes place in the game.
Since the game launched, NFS players collected over 9.8 million REP points, took more than 35 million snapshots, took part in more than 10 million drag races, and spent some 950 million minutes customizing their cars.

If you liked playing Need for Speed and you were hoping for a sequel, then you need to know that Ghost Games and EA won’t release a new Need for Speed title this year. They won’t follow the annual release cycle we’ve grown accustomed to. There won’t be a new Need for Speed until 2017.
“We are now building upon the foundations that have been laid with Need for Speed and delivering our next game in 2017,” said Ghost Games. “That’s not to say that we’re going quiet between now and then... far from it. We'll be working with our community and there will be multiple opportunities to bring many of you into the studio in the coming months to get your feedback on where we're headed.”
