Mortal Kombat X, the 10th Installment of the Series, Has Been Released

Mortal Kombat X, the 10th and most gruesome installment in the legendary fighting game franchise, has just been released. Are you ready to fight?!



Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment just announced that it rolled out Mortal Kombat X for the following platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC.

Developer NetherRealm Studios added that Mortal Kombat X is also available for mobile devices on Apple’s App Store. What about Google’s Android? Well, an Android version is “coming soon.”

Mortal Kombat X – Main Features
  • The most brutal Kombat experience ever – cinematic story with amazing graphics, an all-new gameplay, over-the-top fighting game action.
  • Living Towers single player mode – regularly updated timed challenges for players to conquer. Test Your Might, Test Your Luck and other classic modes are also available.
  • Faction Wars – an all-new persistent meta-game that connects players around the world.
  • Unique mobile experience – the mobile version was built from the ground up for on-the-go battles so that mobile users can experience the legendary Mortal Kombat franchise on their mobiles.
  • Legendary and new generation characters – Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Cassie Cage, Jacqui Briggs and other characters are ready for battle. Legendary and new generation characters have 3 distinct variations that diversify their special abilities.
  • Over-the-top fatalities – defeat your opponent with a gruesome fatality.
