Microsoft recently announced that it made the Sway app available for Apple’s iPad. This means that you can create Sways on the go, no matter what Apple device you have, be it an iPhone or an iPad.

Microsoft also announced that a native Sway app for the upcoming Windows 10 will be released this summer.

What is Sway?

Part of the Microsoft Office family of products, Sway is a web and mobile app that can use used to create a presentable website. Place content onto a canvas, play with the design until it reflects your unique style, and come up with a polished way of expressing your ideas.

The video presented below briefly presents Microsoft Sway. For more videos and for more information about Sway, go to Sway.com.

Use Sway on your iPhone or iPad

Microsoft recently announced that it updated the native Sway app for iPhone. The updated app makes it easier to add pictures, videos and text to a Sway. And by letting users switch between Edit and Preview, it makes it quicker to preview Sways.

Sway for iPhone is accompanied by the new Sway for iPad. It is optimized for the iPad’s larger screen, it works in landscape and portrait mode, and it comes with a Remix! feature that lets you quickly try out different layouts and styles.

Sway for Windows 10 this Summer

The Windows 10 operating system is scheduled to be released this summer, on July 29. A native Sway app for Windows 10 will be released this summer, but we don’t have a precise release date.

“We will deliver a Sway native app experience for Windows 10 later this summer and we couldn’t be more excited. Sway for Windows will deliver a rich, touch-first experience that syncs your Sways across your devices and the web, helping you quickly create and share Sways that look great on any screen, for anyone you share with. Just as with Windows 10, Sway’s initial release on Windows 10 will be for PC and tablets,” the Sway Team explained.
