Microsoft has lots of Android apps to offer. Just go to Microsoft’s page on Google Play and you’ll see that the list is quite long, featuring more than 60 apps for Google’s mobile operating system.

The latest addition to this list is the new Microsoft Apps, an Android app that tells you about all the other Android apps Microsoft has to offer.

Instead of going to Microsoft’s Google Play page to see what the company has to offer, get Microsoft Apps to uncover and download Microsoft’s apps.

Microsoft Apps is a one-stop shop for all the Android apps Microsoft has to offer.

The app’s interface is divided into two sections. One the left hand side, we have the Categories section, which groups Microsoft’s apps into different categories, such as Communication, Education, Entertainment, Finance, and Productivity.

As expected, the Productivity category features apps such as OneDrive, Outlook, OneNote, and so on. Please note that you can’t download any of these from within Microsoft Apps. Tap on OneDrive for example and the Google Play Store will launch, allowing you to download the OneDrive app.

As I was saying above, the app’s interface is divided into two sections. On the right hand side, we have a list of Popular apps. The large preview at the top cycles through a handful of apps; the list underneath it presents some of Microsoft’s most popular apps. Again, if you tap any title on the list, Google Play will launch and you’ll be taken to the app’s Google Play page.

The app doesn’t do much more than that. It presents Microsoft’s Android apps, with a very brief description for each app, a look at its Google Play rating, and a section that highlights the most popular apps. It’s not groundbreaking, I will agree. But it looks good and it shows Microsoft's growing support of and commitment to Android as a platform. And if you need a one-stop shop for all of Microsoft’s Android apps, you might even find it useful.

Microsoft Apps is available for free on Google Play.
