Microsoft Has New Tablets to Offer: Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2

The Surface family of tablets grows larger with the introduction of two new members: the Surface 2 and the Surface Pro 2.

These new tablets are slightly thinner and lighter, come with more processing power, a better display and a better camera, increased battery life, an expanded portfolio of new accessories, and a Kickstand that has dual angles so you can more comfortably use the tablet at your desk or on your lap.

If you’re thinking about getting a new Surface 2 tablet, then you need to know that prices start at $449. Prices for the new Surface Pro 2 on the other hand start at $899. It all depends on the configuration you get. The Surface 2 for example will be available in 32GB and 64GB configurations. The Surface Pro 2 will be available in 64GB and 128GB configurations with 4GB of RAM memory and will also be available in 256GB and 512GB configurations with 8GB of RAM.

Accompanying the new Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 are 7 new accessories: a thinner and lighter Touch Cover 2, a backlit Type Cover 2, a battery friendly Power Cover, a docking station for Surface Pro, a wireless adapter for Typing Covers, a car charger with USB, and a special-edition Arc Touch Mouse.
