If you’re feeling a bit artistic and you want to let our inner painter out, then check out the GMX-PhotoPainter application. With it you will turn photos into artistic, expressive works of art.

My significant other, who comes from an artistic background, recently told me that we should start painting – this is meant to help us relax, bond, and “let the colors speak our minds”.
Coming from a software background and not wanting to go get brushes, paint and all the other bits and pieces you need to paint, I found the perfect solution: GMX-PhotoPainter, an application that allows me to explore my artistic side and test my hand at painting.

What GMX-PhotoPainter does is it provides all the tools you need to turn digital photos into artistic works. Images speak louder than words, so Here is an example so you can get a better idea of what I am talking about.

becomes this interesting painting after you put your skill and GMX-PhotoPainter’s to good use.

Here are a couple more before and after images.

Using GMX-PhotoPainter is a fairly simple process: you load an image into the application, then you use the brushes and styles it has to offer to turn the image into a painting. There are multiple brushes to choose from and multiple styles to choose from as well: Crayon, Oil, Watercolor, Autopaint, Freehand, and more. You can also combine different textures, brushes and painting techniques to create your own styles.

When using GMX-PhotoPainter, your skill is a major factor. The application provides you with the tools, but it does not provide you with the talent you need to create something amazing. Still, I’m sure that if I persevere I will be able to come up with something that will leave my significant other speechless.

GMX-PhotoPainter is available for Windows and Mac.
The Windows version is available for download right here on FindMySoft.

Additional information on the application is available on its official website here.
