The one to the left is an iPhone case and the one to the right is an iPod case developed by Belkin in partnership with Lego. Come spring 2013, Lego fans will be able to get their hands on these interesting looking cases.

Belkin, California manufacturer and supplier of audio, video and computer cables, power protection, desktop and mobility accessories, announced earlier this week that it signed a multi-year licensing partnership with The LEGO Group, Denmark-based privately held company that manufactures the popular Lego construction toys. As part of the partnership, Belkin will come up with Lego-inspired, innovative and fun accessories for mobile devices.

"This partnership opens up a whole new audience for Belkin and we are extremely excited to work together on a line of cases based on iconic Lego toys that will inspire creativity and promote individuality in people of all ages," said Patrick Sullivan, director of product management at Belkin.

Starting this spring, Belkin will roll out smartphone cases that blend together the company’s quality product design with the unique buildable experience that you get from Lego bricks. At first the company will market these cases to iPhone and iPod users. Later on the product line will be expanded to cover other platforms.
