Legendary Pirates Is the Biggest Plunder Pirates Update since the Game's Launch
The Plunder Pirates mobile game has been updated to version 2.0 and, as Rovio announced, this legendary update is the biggest update in the game’s history. Among other things, it introduces Legendary Pirates, a lineup of notorious pirates, each with their own set of unique attack styles and abilities – also, a huge collection of outfits.
“Since Plunder Pirates first aweighed anchor, the game has attracted more than 8 million downloads and earned an engaged fanbase across the seven seas,” said Wilhelm Taht, Head of External Products at Rovio. “The Legendary update is a thank you to those fans and also a dazzling invitation to new players to come aboard and discover the pirate’s life.”
As part of the Rovio Stars publishing initiative, Rovio released Midoki’s online multiplayer free-for-all Plunder Pirates game back in September 2014 for iOS and April 2015 for Android. Since then, the game received multiple updates, updates that tweaked the gameplay and improved the user experience. But none compare to the Legendary Pirates update that’s just been released. This is the biggest update since the game’s launch back in September 2014.
