Inspired by “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”, Google came up with a new Chrome Experiment called “A Journey through Middle-Earth.” As the name so adequately points out, you can explore the mythical land from within your browser window – the browser on your desktop machine, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
