Software developer Kingsoft rolled out a new, a 2013 version of its free productivity suite. Kingsoft Office Suite Free 2013 runs faster, is more stable, and features a nice new look.

Forget about KingSoft Office Suite Free 2012, the free yet properly good productivity suite that we’ve just recently reviewed here on FindMySoft. Forget about it because Kingsoft, the Hong Kong-based developer behind the application, rolled out the 2013 version earlier this month.
On June 4th, Kingsoft published its Kingsoft Office 2013 software – the Free as well as the paid Pro version.

Kingsoft Office 2013 runs faster than the aforementioned 2012 version, is more stable than the 2012 edition, and it comes with a nice new interface. During the installation process, you will be invited to pick a style for the suite’s interface. You can choose the 2013 Elegant Black style, the 2013 Water Blue style, or you can go with the Classic Style if that is what you want.

As I’ve said on numerous occasions, Kingsoft Office is a very good alternative to Microsoft Office. Kingsoft Office Writer meets all your text editing needs, just like Microsoft Office Word. Kingsoft Office Spreadsheets lets you easily create and work with spreadsheets, just like Microsoft Office Excel. And with Kingsoft Office Presentation you can come up with captivating presentations, just like you would with Microsoft Office PowerPoint.

“Kingsoft Office 2012 won warm praise ever since it was released. In order to improve user experience, Kingsoft Office upgraded to the 2013 version after more than a year of development. With bugs in the previous version fixed and many new functions added we hope this version will become your most comprehensive office suite among similar softwares,” said the company in a press release.
