Games are here, and they are here to stay! 3rd Power LLC, not Apple, is well aware of the fact that people love playing games on their iPhones and is hosting the first ever iGames Summit on the 19th of March in San Francisco.

The event is described by Vice President of Business Development with Serious Business and iGames Summit organizer Charles Hudson, on the official summit web page as “a half-day conference focused on the emerging iPhone games space. The conference will bring together leading developers, investors, and executives to share their collective wisdom on what's working today and where this exciting industry is heading.”

We do not exactly know what people will be talking about at iGames, but we know who will do the talking: Andrew Lacy (Tapulous), Nicole Lazzaro (XEODesign), Keith Lee (Booyah), Shervin Pishevar (SGN), Andrew “AT” Trader (Zynga), Ge Wang (Ocarina), Mike Mettler (AdMob), Mike Pagano (Electronic Arts)

The summit will take kick off at 11AM at the Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF, and the exact address is 1675 Owens Street, San Francisco, 94158. You will need to register first; do so here.

Staying on the topic of games, it must be said that the granddaddy of all iPhone games Lights Off has made a comeback. Just as a little reminder, the game was initially made available by Lucas Newman and Adam Betts back in the month of August, 2007 and featured the same fun as the “Lights Out” video game. Back in the day the only way to solve the puzzle game was to jailbreak the iPhone; the process is a lot simpler now, and it only requires you to visit the iTunes App Store and shell out $1.99. Before you do that, you can check out a demo on YouTube.

If you would like to get Lights Off, an iTunes download location is available here.
