Take control of Barry Steakfries and embark on an action-packed and fun-filled adventure that will have you fly a cool machine gun jetpack, an awesome hog, and other interesting vehicles.

It is my great pleasure to present the Halfbrick Studios-developed Jetpack Joyride, an app that received rave reviews from the media and was amply rewarded for being an exciting and captivating adventure game. You can get the app and have fun on your iOS and on your Android-powered device. It’s sure to captivate and keep you glued to your device’s screen.

The game puts in you control of the lovable hero Barry Steakfries and starts you off with a machine gun jetpack. Tap the screen and the jetpack will start shooting bullets that push you high up into the sky. Use this jetpack to shoot the evil scientists, to dodge a variety of obstacles and dangers, to collect coins, and to pick up vehicles – like a crazy freaking teleporter, a very cool sounding hog, or a bulky looking stomper. Your main goal is to keep on running and to survive for as long as possible, using all the powerups you can get your hands on.

As mentioned above, you start off with a machine gun jetpack and you use it to collect coins, shoot enemies, and dodge obstacles. Get enough coins and you’ll be able to purchase a new jetpack. For 13,500 coins for example you can purchase a laser jetpack – various other jetpacks are available for purchase in The Stash. There are other things you can purchase from The Stash with the coins you collect: new clothing to change the way Barry Stearkfries looks, vehicle upgrades, utilities, and gadgets.

Jetpack Joyride is available for free for iOS and for Android-powered devices. Get it from the App Store here and from the Play Store here.
