After adding support for videos on Instagram, the Facebook-owned social networking service now introduced the option to share Instagram videos by embedding them into blogs or websites.

Late this June, Instagram had a very nice surprise for its user base of more than 130 million people: support for video. Up until June 2013, Instagram provided a single means of sharing stories – via static images edited with filters. By adding support for video, Instagram offered its millions of users an exciting new means of sharing stories with others.

The latest Instagram version features a new movie icon. Tap it, switch from photo to video mode, and start recording your video (limited to 15 seconds). The app’s world-class image stabilization will ensure you make beautiful videos even when on the go. And speaking about beauty, there 13 video filters that you can use to make your videos look a little bit better.

Early this July, Instagram had another very nice surprise for its millions of users: Instagram web embeds. The Instagram videos I mentioned above, they can be embedded into online articles, blogs, or websites. Here is what you have to do: visit an Instagram video page on your desktop browser -> click the share button from the right hand side -> you will be presented with the embed code -> with a simple mouse click you can copy the embed code -> then you can use it to embed the video on your blog or on your website.

“As always, you own your photos and videos, and we want to make sure that’s understood no matter where your content appears. Whether you want to embed your video on your blog or a friend wants to feature your photo on a website, everyone will clearly see that your content belongs to you. Your embedded photo or video appears with your Instagram username, and clicking on the Instagram logo will take people to your page on Instagram.com where they can discover more of your photos and videos,” explained Instagram.
