Check out some of the funny 404 messages presented by IMDb, the world's most popular and authoritative source for movie, TV and celebrity content.

Most sites have a standard, dreary 404 message or, as is the case with FindMySoft, you’re simply presented with a blank page when the file/address cannot be found. IMDb, the world's most popular and authoritative source for movie, TV and celebrity content, stands out from the pack. The website presents movie-inspired, funny 404 messages.

Want to check this out for yourself? Just click this link! You could get something like “Gimme the goddam PAGE!” which is inspired from the 1994 action-thriller True Lies, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Or you could get a message like “What we’ve got here is...failure to communicate”. This one is inspired from 1967’s drama Cool Hand Luke starring Paul Newman and George Kennedy.

There’s even one inspired by 1939’s The Wizard of OZ. You’ve guessed it, the 404 message says “I’ve got a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.”

You don’t have to be a movie buff to know from what movie the 404 message is inspired. The message tells you from what movie the IMDb team drew inspiration from, and it also provides an IMDb link for that movie.

There are a few other 404 messages apart from the ones I presented above. Once again, I invite you to click this link to uncover them all. There are, if I’m not mistaken, nine in all at the time of writing this, so it won’t take long to uncover them all.

IMDb (short for Internet Movie Database) is a website dedicated to everything movie-related. On the site you will find information on movies, actors, event, upcoming releases, top grossing movies, and more. Go ahead and check it out at imdb.com if you haven’t already. It’s an incredibly popular website, so chances are you’re already familiar with the site. But then again, you never know.
