If you want to decorate your computer in preparation for Thanksgiving, which is tomorrow by the way, Redmond-based software giant Microsoft has recently rolled out the Harvest Time theme pack for Windows 7. This Windows 7 theme is a collection of 18 great looking images that celebrate harvest. “Harvest Time has images from across the world and features many different crops, including olives, grapes, rice, wheat, corn, apples, and more,” explained Jennifer Shepherd, site manager for the Windows Personalization Gallery.

After Thanksgiving is over, all focus will fall on the winter holidays. If you want to decorate your PC in preparation for Christmas and the winter holidays, Microsoft has recently rolled out the Holiday Lights theme pack. This Windows 7 theme is a collection of 17 top quality images that feature Christmas lights and Christmas trees and various decorations (check out the thumbnails at the bottom).

Here’s the official description of the recently released Holiday Lights, as presented on the Windows Personalization Gallery:
“Brighten your desktop with sparkling images of holiday celebration and winter wonder in this Windows 7 theme.”

If you want to find out where an image included in the Holiday Lights theme was taken, you can do so by following the steps presented below:
- Right click an empty space on the desktop -> from the menu that appears select “Personalize”
- Click the Holiday Lights theme -> now click “Desktop background” (it’s down at the bottom).
- When you hover the mouse cursor over an image, a tooltip will show up. The tooltip presents summary information about the image. The last line in the summary usually contains details on where the picture was taken. To gain access to even more info, right click an image -> select “Properties” from the menu that appears -> then select “Details” from the window that appears.
