The all-new and improved AVG TuneUp, the recently released 2014 version, comes with 35 optimization and maintenance tools for Windows.

Security company AVG Technologies recently announced that it rolled out the 2014 version of AVG PC TuneUp. What’s new is that the application has been improved – it is now even better suited to boost a Windows-powered machine’s performance. The application comes with 10 new and enhanced features and a total of 35 optimization and maintenance tools.

  • Improved UI – the interface is now cleaner and easier to use. It is now easier than ever to access the aforementioned 35 optimization and maintenance tools.
  • Faster Registry Cleaner – the application addresses Registry problems faster than before.
  • Improved Disk Cleaner – supports and removes junk data left behind by more than 155 applications.
  • Browser Cleaner – with support for more than 25 browsers, this tool will remove all the traces you leave behind when surfing the web.
  • Automatic updates for Disk Cleaner and Browser Cleaner.
  • Duplicate Finder – this new tool will find duplicate files that do nothing but waste disk space.
  • Live Optimization 2.0 – find out which applications hog system resources and efficiently control them.
  • Process Manager – by using user-friendly names and color-coding, this feature makes it easy to see what’s running on your Windows-powered machine.
  • Flight Mode – meant for laptop and tablet users, this new feature increases battery life by disabling Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radios and services.
  • Shortcut Cleaner – remove invalid shortcuts.
