What do kids like to do on Halloween? As far as I see it, they like to dress up in spooky costumes, they want to stay up and watch scary movies, they like to eat a lot of candy, and they like to carve pumpkins. Let’s focus on the last one, on the pumpkin carving, shall we?

As part of today’s Halloween Special, the day when all FindMySoft news are focused on scary or Halloween-related stuff, I would like to present to you the ABCya.com-developed app Carve It! Pumpkin Carving (iTunes link). This is a $0.99 app that is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad; it works on iOS 3.0 or later.

Instead of carving up a real-life pumpkin and making a mess in the process, you could use this app to carve a virtual pumpkin instead. The experience can prove to be just as amusing, with a few advantages – first up, you don’t make a mess; second up, you can always carve another pumpkin if you don’t like how the first one turned up.

Here are the main features you can expect to get from the Carve It! Pumpkin Carving app, as presented in the app’s official description:

- Up to 5 player profiles to save pumpkins and Pumpkin Bungee scores
- 8 spooky Halloween characters to choose for your profile
- 3 different size pumpkins to carve
- Save carved pumpkins
- Share carved pumpkins via email
- Graphics optimized for iPhone 4 and iPod Touch Retina display
- Fun colorful graphics and sounds developed for a younger audience

If you would like to get the Carve It! Pumpkin Carving app, here’s the iTunes link again.
