The powerful and very useful HERE mapping app for Android has recently been updated. The fact that it comes with some significant improvements, with some nice new features, and with multiple bug fixes, is exciting. What’s even more exciting is that HERE for Android graduated from Beta.

Three million downloads later, HERE for Android lost its Beta tag. The mature and stable HERE app is all grown up and available for download on Google Play.

HERE is Nokia’s powerful mapping software that was formerly known as Ovi Maps and Nokia Maps. A Beta version for Android was rolled out to Samsung Galaxy Apps in October 2014 and to Google Play in December 2014. The stable version was rolled out earlier this month, February 2015, and is available for download right now on Google Play.

Before you go get the stable version of HERE for Android, perhaps you’d like to know what it has to offer. Here’s a quick look.
