GrimeFighter Minions Clean, Secure, and Optimize Your PC

Security company AVAST has a new tool that features cute minions, a tool that can be used to clean, secure, and optimize your PC. The tool in question is called avast! GrimeFighter.



As time goes on, your PC will collect grime – junk files, problems with the Windows Registry, browser toolbars, crapware, unsecure settings, malware, and more. All this grime will inevitably weigh down and slow down your PC. There is something you can do to remove all this grime. You can get avast! GrimeFighter.

This application will scan your PC, uncover grime, and then remove all the grime. Officer Pete leads a whole team of minions that will check your PC and uncover a variety of problems.



Apart from Officer Pete, the leader of the team, there are in all, 11 minions.

Kobayashi – Finds and destroys malware



Nikita – Cleans and maintains web browsers



Dale Jumpshot Jr. – Removes crapware and bloatware



Beef – Tweaks security settings for popular applications



Torque – Tunes and optimizes Windows services and settings



Sir Jeffrey – Analyzes hardware components, tells you if hardware is about to fail



Mario – Analyzes the speed and security of your network connection



Dr. Liza – Analyzes and classifies the data on your hard drive.



Zilch – Finds and removes junk files



Maximus – Predicts the next evolution of hacking, spyware, and malware



Holmes – Analyzes your privacy settings
