Google, the company behind a long list of sites and services like for example Gmail, Google Docs and YouTube to name put a few, wants you to be aware of all the things that are keeping it busy. And it seems that in order to do so the company has thought of using micro-blogging site Twitter to keep you informed. Since Google has made its name by frequently releasing updates (check out Chrome 3.0.193.0 for Windows for example), it wants to make sure that everyone that wants to find out about them can do so in the easiest manner possible – and the platform the search engine giant has picked to serve its goal is Twitter.“Like lots of you, we've been drawn into Twitter this year. After all, we're all about frequent updates ourselves, and there's lots happening around here that we want to share with you. Of course, we enjoy watching, and contributing to, the tweetstream (we hope you find our tweets useful, too). Because there are many programs and initiatives across the company, we've got a number of active accounts,” explained Karen Wickre, Google Blog & Twitter Team
