Google Lowers Prices, Makes Google Drive More Affordable

The Google Drive cloud storage service is now more affordable. You can now pay a lot less money to keep your important files safely in the cloud.

The monthly storage plans for Google Drive have gone down considerably. For example, you now get 100GB of cloud storage space for $1.99. In the past you had to pay more than double - $4.99. The price cuts are even greater for larger plans.

Google Drive, the company’s cloud storage device, has been around for about two years now. During this time, the amount of storage you get for free has gone up while the amount of money you have to pay for cloud storage has gone down.

Free Cloud Storage – Lots of Space to Store Important Files

You see, you initially got 5GB of cloud storage on Google Drive for free. Now you get three times as much – all users get 15GB of Google Drive cloud storage for free. They can use it to store vacation photos, wedding videos, work files, anything they want.

Paid Cloud Storage – Big Price Cuts for Monthly Storage Plans

The monthly storage plan for 100GB used to be $4.99 and the plan for 1TB used to be $49.99. This is no longer the case. Google has considerably dropped the aforementioned prices. 100GB of storage is now priced at $1.99 per month and 1TB is priced at $9.99. If you need even more space, you can get 10TB for $99.99 per month, 20TB for $199.99 per month, and 30TB for $299.99 per month.
