Get a Free 6-Month Subscription for Kaspersky PURE Total Security
If you're one of the millions and millions of Facebook users, you can get a 6-month subscription version of Kaspersky PURE Total Security, tool that delivers the ultimate protection for your PC.
Security company Kaspersky Lab recently announced that it entered a partnership with incredibly popular social networking site Facebook. The aim of this partnership is simple: to provide an enhanced level of online and offline protection to the many, many Facebook users out there (1 billion active users as of September 2012).
“When Kaspersky Lab was founded 15 years ago, we could only imagine the ways technology would interconnect the citizens of the Internet and what a huge impact this would have on individuals and society as a whole. The mission of Kaspersky Lab has always been to protect people and businesses as they connect online, and there is no network that is leading the future of online connections like Facebook. Both companies are the best at what we do, so it makes sense to work together toward a safer Internet for all,” said Steve Orenberg, President, Kaspersky Lab North America.
As part of the Kaspersky Lab-Facebook partnership, up-to-the-minute data about the latest malicious software threats worldwide will be provided to Facebook so that it can keep its users safe and secure. Links shared or clicked on will be checked against Kaspersky Lab’s database of malicious web pages. If a Facebook user clicks on a link that leads to a malicious website, the following prompt will show up.

Also as part of the Kaspersky Lab-Facebook partnership, Facebook users can get a 6-month subscription version of Kaspersky PURE Total Security. Non-Facebook users can get a free 30-day trial; Facebook users can get a free 6-month subscription for Kaspersky PURE Total Security, the company’s flagship consumer suite.
Last but not least, as part of its partnership with Facebook, Kaspersky Lab will contribute expert advice, tips and informative articles to the Facebook Security page.
You can get the free 6-month subscription for Kaspersky PURE Total Security from the AV Martkeplace on the Facebook Security page.
