Fun Free Apps: Moanmeter and Annoying Talking Mona Lisa
It’s Friday, so you are looking to have a bit of fun or at least kill some time. With that in mind, I present to you two fun apps that are offered free of charge and can prove to be quite fun. The first app is the PluckTheCrow-offered Moanmeter, an app that works with iOS 4.0-powered iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads.
If you are surrounded by people who moan and whine a lot, this easy to use app is for you. You can use it to log who’s moaning and to find out what that person is moaning about. You can even use it to find out who among all the moaners around you moaned the most; the app presents you with a graph of most common moans and a list of the month’s “Moaners of the Month.”
If you would like to get the Moanmeter app, you can grab it straight from the App Store.
If you would like to learn more about the app, check out moanometer.com.
As a little side note, the Moanmeter app reminds me of the Cry Translator app, an app that claims to be able to identify the five distinct cries babies make. Those five distinct cries are hungry, sleepy, annoyed, stressed and bored. You can get this app for $4.99 from the App Store; learn more about it here.
Moving on, another free and fun app you may want to try is the Develop4Media-offered Annoying Talking Mona Lisa. One of the most famous paintings in history, Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa comes to life and starts to talk, cry, and even fart. She makes funny faces, and scary faces, sings, and screams, and mocks you by repeating your words. They say violence is not the answer, but it is an option in this app. You can slap Mona Lisa and she will cry.
