Intego, company that specializes in providing security solutions for Mac, was glad to announce that Frost & Sullivan, business research and consulting firm that offers market analysis, market research and reports, named it ‘Company of the Year' for 2010. This means that Intego is the top dog in the pack – and by dog I mean company and by pack I mean all the companies in the Mac security market.

“Based on clear, forward-thinking leadership in the Mac endpoint security market, Frost & Sullivan presents the 2010 Global Entrepreneurial Company of the Year Award to Intego,” said Frost & Sullivan who chose Intego as the best company in the Mac security sector after analyzing the best practices of all the major players on the market.

Here is what Intego’s Founder and CEO Laurent Marteau had to say on this very joyous occasion for the company he runs:

“We’re very proud to have received this important recognition. We protect Mac users from the many security threats they face with our powerful X6 product line, which is acknowledged as the best security software for Mac. Receiving this award from an independent third party is confirmation that our hard work has borne fruit. This award confirms our position as the leader in Mac security, and validates the excellent strategic choices that have been made throughout Intego’s life.”

This is definitely good news for Intego as a company and for Intego’s customers. Speaking of which, Intego has more than 1 million users spread across 60 countries. Intego provides multilingual software that offers properly good protection against security threats to all its customers.
