"What should I be for Halloween? I could dress up as the Joker, or perhaps something truly scary, like Donald Trump. I don’t know… better ask Google for help". Does that sound familiar? I bet it does!

In the weeks leading up to Halloween, people turned to Google for help, using the search engine to look for costumes and costume ideas. Google analyzed all these queries and uncovered the most popular Halloween costume searches this year.

The results were published on the official Google blog and on Frightgeist, the new Google Trends Halloween hub. Here’s what they revealed.

Top 3 Trending Costumes Nationwide in the Past Month

Searches for “Donald Trump wig” have spiked in the past month, earning the presidential candidate the top spot on the list of top trending costumes nationwide in the past month.

Coming in at number 2 and 3 on the list are Mal and Evie, the characters from Disney’s TV movie Descendants.

#1 Trending Costume Nationwide – Harley Quinn

The Suicide Squad movie, which is scheduled to be released in August 2016 in the US, tells the story of a secret government agency that recruits imprisoned supervillains and uses them to execute dangerous black ops missions.

If you didn’t see the movie’s trailer, check it out below. Once you’ve seen it, you’ll understand why lots of people are anxiously awaiting the movie’s release.

Harley Quinn, who is portrayed by Margot Robbie in the Suicide Squad movie, takes the top stop on the list of top trending costumes nationwide. Here’s a closer look at that list.

Top 5 Dog Costumes in the Past Month

In keeping with the Star Wars theme we’ve got going on here, I have to bring up the fact that lots of people dress their dogs up for Halloween. Several characters from the Star Wars universe are on the list of top 5 dog costumes: Ewok, Yoda, and Chewbacca.

Popular dog costume searches that did not make the top 5 include lion, dinosaur, and shark.

#1 Most Searched Candy Nationwide – Marshmallows

Halloween is about spooky costumes, trick or treating, and eating lots of candy. Google has seen lots of searches for candy, including candy corn, candy apples, donuts, pudding cups, and Kit Kats. There’s one candy that stands atop all the others; the most searched candy nationwide this Halloween is marshmallows.

Which reminds me about the latest Android version, Android 6.0 codename Marshmallow. Released to the public this October, Marshmallow comes with some interesting new features, like the redesigned permissions model that lets you manage app permissions.

Don't expect Samsung's gargantuan new tablet, the Galaxy View, to be powered by Marshmallow. This new device, the largest Android mobile device on the market to date, will be powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Galaxy View will roll out in the US starting with November 6. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $599.99.
