Angry Birds Toons Episode 1 “Chuck Time”

Back in February, Rovio Entertainment announced that it is working on a 52-episodes long animated series that is based on its incredibly popular Angry Birds game. Called Angry Birds Toons, the series hit the public on the weekend of 16 & 17 March, 2013. It was rolled out via an exclusive channel available inside Angry Birds apps – Angry Birds, Angry Birds Star Wars, Angry Birds Rio, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Space. Just tap on the Toons button in the main menu when you launch your Angry Birds app to check out the channel.

About three months after the launch of Angry Birds Toons, Rovio Entertainment announced that the series was a big hit, getting more than 100 million views per month and breaking 400 million views in total. To celebrate the series’ huge success, Rovio decided to take the first episode, Chuck Time, and post it on YouTube so that everyone can see it, not just those who installed an Angry Birds app on their device.

“Angry Birds Toons, the animated series following the adventures of the birds and the pigs debuted in March 2013, has been a huge hit thanks to you, our beloved fans! To date, the Toons channel has gathered over 400 million views across our games, and has been a big hit with our TV partners across the world. This has made us happy indeed!” said Rovio Entertainment.
