With, Black Friday just around the corner, the Feedly team announced that it is offering a considerable discount for Feedly Pro.

You can get the better version of Feedly for 20% off. The offer is available until the 2nd of December.

If you’re not familiar with Feedly, then I have to quickly present it to you: it is a properly good feed reader, a news aggregator that can be used on desktop machines and mobile devices. When Google Reader went the way of the dodo, Feedly was a real lifesaver. It allowed countless users to easily transition from Google Reader to Feedly and thus continue to stay on top of their RSS feeds.

Feedly Pro is the more powerful version of Feedly. It is a paid version that comes with some nice extra features. The following ones:
  • Search – the option to search within your feeds.
  • Speed – updates from small sites are delivered 30 minutes faster.
  • HTTPS – you can browse on an encrypted connection.
  • Evernote – with a mouse click you can save to content to Evernote.
  • Pocket – one-click save to pocket.
  • Custom sharing – use the Custom Sharing feature to send articles to Pinboard, publish articles via HootSuite, send articles to RTM (Remember The Milk), create a Google Bookmark, create an event in Google Calendar, shorten the article URL with bit.ly, open the article with Google Translate, or blog to WordPress.
  • Premium support – Pro customers will get premium support from the Feedly team.
  • Vote – you can suggest and vote features for the Pro version.
Normally, you would have to part with $45 to enjoy Feedly Pro and its advanced features. With Black Friday on its way, the Feedly team is offering a nice discount for Feedly Pro:
Until the 2nd of December, you can get Feedly Pro for $35 instead of $45. That is a discount of 20%.
