We already knew that Far Harbor, the third and most expensive Fallout 4 add-on so far, will be released this May. But we didn’t have a precise release date. Now we do: May 19, 2016.

Bethesda is going to roll out Far Harbor worldwide on Thursday, May 19, making it available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. As previously announced, Far Harbor will set you back $24.99 USD (unless you have a Season Pass, in which case you’ll get it for free).

Far Harbor is the largest landmass for an add-on that Bethesda has ever created.

Situated outside the Commonwealth, off the coast of Maine, Far Harbor is a dangerous and mysterious island where you will find new, higher-level armor and weapons, new faction quests, settlements, dungeons, and creatures. It’s a feral world full of dangers.

You get to this island by taking a new case for the Valentine’s Detective Agency. Your mission is to search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. But it isn’t going to be easy, because the higher levels of radiation have turned Far Harbor into a feral world full of lethal creatures. And if that wasn't enough, conflict is brewing between the locals, the synths, and the Children of Atom.

Here’s the official Far Harbor trailer to better put things in perspective.

The trailer above isn’t the only thing that Bethesda released. To get you even more excited about the upcoming Far Harbor add-on, Bethesda published these six screenshots.

Far Harbor is the third add-on for Bethesda’s Fallout 4. I bring this up again only to remind you about the previous two add-ons: Automatron, which introduced the option to build your own custom robot, and Wasteland Workshop, which introduced the option to capture and tame wild creatures, and even have them face off in battle.
