Facebook Makes Internet.org Available In India

Internet.org, the app that provides free access to the web, is now available in India. This is exciting because it is the first time this app is available in the region.

Facebook recently announced that, in partnership with Reliance Communications, it is making Internet.org available to customers in the following 6 Indian states: Tamil Nadu, Mahararashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, and Telangana.

Reliance customers from the regions mentioned above can use Internet.org to access websites that cover all sorts of content: news, maternal health, travel, local jobs, sports, communication, and local government information.
