Back in June we were reporting that F-Secure, Finland-based company that specializes in providing antivirus and security software solutions, released the Beta version of F-Secure Internet Security 2011 to the public – anyone that would be interested in testing the software that is. At the time company representatives explained that F-Secure Internet Security 2011 would be faster than previous versions, would be easier to use than previous versions, and would offer a higher level of protection than previous versions.

If you’re expecting me to say that F-Secure has put the finishing touches on F-Secure Internet Security 2011 and rolled it out as a final, stable version, then I am sorry to disappoint you. A final version of F-Secure has not been released. What has been released is a three and half minute long video clip in which F-Secure talks about the security software solution.

In the clip F-Secure explains that in developing F-Secure Internet Security 2011 it listened to user feedback and tried to implement the changes users asked for. After gathering all the feedback, F-Secure found out that users want the following:

- An easy to install and easy to use application.
- The right protection at the right time, not a big confusing bunch of technical bits and pieces.
- The security software must not distract the user and must let him go about his day without constantly interrupting him.
- The security software must provide adequate, properly good online security.

Speaking of online security, in the video F-Secure explains how F-Secure Internet Security 2011 can protect you against scams, dangerous sites, and safe sites that have become compromised. If you have children and would like to prevent them from accessing certain sites, you can use F-Secure Internet Security 2011’s parental control tools to do so.

“We think F-Secure Internet Security 2011 is one of the easiest and most user friendly security solutions available,” said Security Advisor with F-Secure Labs, Sean Sullivan in the video which I highly advise you to watch. I found it to be quite amusing – and it’s not like you’ll lose a lot of time since the video is only 3:27min long.
