F-Secure, Finland-based company that specializes in providing antivirus and security software solutions, has recently released the Beta version of F-Secure Internet Security 2011. If you would like to participate in Beta testing F-Secure Internet Security 2011, you can sing up here.

Why would you want to Beta test the application? Three reasons come to mind:
1. You are an F-Secure fan and would like to get involved.
2. You want a chance to influence the final, stable version of F-Secure Internet Security 2011.
3. As a Beta tester you will receive a free six-month subscription during which you will automatically receive the latest updates to the software.

F-Secure explained it will be offering rewards to the best enhancements suggestions and for active feedback on F-Secure Internet Security 2011 Beta.

What’s new in F-Secure Internet Security 2011? According to F-Secure, the application is faster than previous iterations; it is also easier to use than previous versions. F-Secure has improved the user interface to give the user easier access to the important tasks and features – all improvements were made based on multiple usability studies.

F-Secure Internet Security 2011 offers better malware protection than previous versions. The application’s automated malware removal logic uses prevalence info from F-Secure cloud services, making your internet usage safer than ever.

“The biggest new feature from the lab's point of view is our "DeepGuard 3" technology which utilizes cloud based reputation systems, prevalence, source, age, et cetera. The end result is that if we don't know or trust it — it'll be blocked before it can do harm,” explained F-Secure.

There is one more new thing you can expect to get from F-Secure Internet Security 2011 – when you install the application on your Vista or Windows 7-powered machine for the first time, it will not be necessary to restart the machine.
