The Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce mulled things over and gave the Business Person of the Year award to Eugene Kaspersky in recognition of his outstanding achievements.

Here is what Eugene Kaspersky had to say about the award:
“It is a great honor for me to receive such an important award,” commented Eugene Kaspersky. “We greatly appreciate our partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. We became members in 2009 and since that time have been working together very successfully. I have every confidence that Kaspersky Lab will go on to even greater success in the future as we at the company know that it is essential to continue working hard to provide our customers with the very latest and most innovative IT security technologies.”
