ESET, company that offers antivirus software for home and business users, was glad to announce that its NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition received some recognition for the properly good level of protection it offers. And more to the point, ESET was glad to announce that its security product was recognized as the number one antimalware solution by TechTarget Information Security magazine and SearchSecurity.com 2011 Readers' Choice Awards. ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition managed to best similar products offered by McAfee and Trend Micro.

It’s no wonder ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition won, if you keep in mind that it offers comprehensive server-to-endpoint network security for businesses, that its sophisticated detection system can protect against a variety of threats (viruses, Trojans, spyware, phishing attacks), and that it allows IT administrators to easily manage hundreds of thousands of Windows, Mac, Linux, or mobile endpoints via ESET Remote Administrator.

Dan Clark, vice president of marketing at ESET North America, had this to comment on the fact that ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition was recognized by the TechTarget Information Security magazine and SearchSecurity.com™ 2011 Readers' Choice Awards:

“ESET is committed to delivering business anti-malware solutions that are extremely effective yet very efficient. We believe security should not come at the expense of productivity; it's a principle and a responsibility we take very seriously. For years, our emphasis has been to use advanced proactive heuristics to detect malware as opposed to relying on basic signatures. We're truly honored that the merits of this approach are appreciated by such a technically sophisticated community, and we want to thank our supporters for the feedback and support they've provided over the years that has helped us get the product to where it is today.”
