To better put things in perspective, here’s the sort of functionality you can expect to get from ESET Mobile Security:
  • Optimized to offer real-time protection without slowing down your Android-powered device. Using proactive heuristics technology, apps, files, folders, memory cards are continually scanned for Trojans, viruses, worms, spyware, adware, phishing, spam, and other threats.
  • Anti-theft features in case your Android is stolen: remotely lock your device, remotely wipe your device, use GPS to locate your device.
  • Trusted Friend feature that works like this: a SMS alert will be sent out to when an unknown SIM card is inserted into the device; the trusted fried can reset the user’s forgotten password if needed.
  • Built-in task manager to let you monitor vital phone functions such as battery life, free disk space, running processes, Bluetooth, and device visibility.
  • Uninstall protection to prevent unauthorized uninstallation of ESET Mobile Security.
  • Block unwanted incoming or outgoing calls.
  • SMS and MMS antispam protection.
