'DuckTales: Remastered' Now Available for iOS, Android, Windows and Windows Phone

DuckTales: Remastered”, the remastered version of the classic, 8-bit, side-scrolling platformer game, has been rolled out to Apple’s App Store, Google’s Play Store, and Microsoft’s Windows and Windows Phone Store.

This means you can play it on your iPhone, on your Android, on your Windows Phone, and on your Windows PC. If you can part with $10 to get the game, that is.

As Scrooge McDuck, you will embark on an epic adventure that will take you to the Himalayas, to the Amazon, to spooky Transylvania, to deep African mines, and even to the Moon. As you travel the world in search of treasure, you will have to tackle a variety of obstacles and do battle against enemies and powerful bosses.

DuckTales: Remastered – Main Features
  • Gameplay – in this classic, side-scrolling platformer game you get to play as Scrooge McDuck and you have to discover the five Legendary Treasures.
  • Journey the world – in your quest to find treasure, you will explore the Himalayas, the Amazon, Transylvania, African mines, and the Moon.
  • Obstacles, villains and bosses – tackle a variety of obstacles, encounter all sorts of villains, defeat enemies in epic boss fights.
  • Unlock original art – by collecting gems you can unlock production art from the original TV series.
  • Remastered graphics – hand-drawn animated sprites and richly painted level backgrounds.
  • Original voice talent – the original voice-actors from the 1980s TV series, including Alan Young, Frank Welker, Russi Taylor and June Foray.
  • Modern soundtrack – digitally-enhanced soundtrack that features modern iterations of the classic melodies.

DuckTales: Remastered is the modern remake of the classic 1989 NES game. In 2013, it was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. In April 2015, it was released for iOS, Android, Windows and Windows Phone.
