Disney Interactive took inspiration from the “Star Wars Rebels” animated television series and came up with “Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions,” an action-platformer game for iOS, Android, Windows & Windows Phone. Here’s a quick look.

Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions – Main Features
  • Join the Rebellion – join the Rebellion and fight to save the citizens of Lothal and restore hope to the Star Wars Rebels universe.
  • Fight the Empire – blast Stormtroopers, dodge TIE Fighters, and even drive an Imperial AT-MP. You get to fight the Empire as street-smart hero Ezra Bridger for free. And if you make an in-app purchase, you get to play as Kanan Jarrus, the Lightsaber wielding cowboy Jedi, or as Sabine Wren, the twin-blaster wielding explosive artist.
  • Secret Rebel Haven – heroes hide out in a secret Rebel Haven that can be customized.
  • Characters – you’ll get to interact with characters like Zeb the muscle of the Ghost team, Hera the pilot, or Chopper the grumpy Droid.
  • Play 4 free levels, unlock 30 more levels and 50+ unique challenges.
  • Earn boosts, earn rewards, discover secret rooms, and more.
Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions is free to play but offers optional in-app purchases. iOS users can get the game from Apple’s App Store, Android users can get it from Google Play, Windows and Windows Phone users can get it from Microsoft’s Windows Store and Windows Phone Store.

Before I end this article, I have to remind you about Star Wars: Galactic Defense, the Star Wars-themed tower-defense game that lets you choose the light or dark side, deploy an arsenal of specialized towers and iconic Star Wars characters, play through more than 100 different battle scenarios, connect with friends, and more. It is available on Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and Amazon.
