CodeGoo iPhone Apps Protect your House and Loved Ones

CodeGoo has developed and released onto the market two pretty interesting iPhone apps (well, I think so) that are meant to put your mind at ease, at least when it comes to monitoring your new born baby and keeping unwanted miscreants away from your home. The first CodeGoo developed iPhone app, which costs only $4.99, is called Baby Monitor (we will get into specifics further down the page, but I think the name pretty much gives it away). The second iPhone app is called Guard Dog, will set you back a mere $0.99, and gives you a virtual dog to chase the unwanted visitors away.

Starting with Baby Monitor, here is how the iPhone app works. After putting your child to bed, launch the application and place the iPhone next to your little one. When the baby wakes up for some reason (is hungry, needs a diaper change, or simply wants some affection) he will naturally start making noises – Baby Monitor will detect these noises and will initiate a phone call to the number you have taken the care to preset.

“You can then listen in for activity from your baby. Great for when you are on the go or traveling, no need to pack your regular baby monitor. One feature that makes this application exceptional is that the monitor has unlimited range,” explains CodeGoo

If you have been blessed with a toddler that is incredibly silent, then all you have to do is place your iPhone in arm’s reach. The Baby Monitor app will also launch itself when the baby picks it up – no sound activation required.

The second CodeGoo developed iPhone app, Guard Dog, is also sound activated, but works in a different manner. Just place your iPhone near your front door entrance and launch the application; whenever someone will knock at the door or will ring the doorbell, Guard Dog will detect the noise and will emit a loud growling or barking sound. For Guard Dog to really be efficient, it would be best to connect some loud speakers to the device.

“You can also manually activate it by simply touching the screen when it’s active. You can use your iPhone to play the barking in the background when talking on your landline phone to callers you may be wary of. Studies have shown that having a big dog in your home can limit your chances of being a crime victim,” explains CodeGoo.
