Great news for iPhone users who want to be able to remotely access their PCs or Macs: Google just rolled out Chrome Remote Desktop for iOS to the App Store.

Thanks to this free app, you can connect from your iPhone to a PC or Mac that runs the Chrome Remote Desktop extension. After you connect, you can remotely control your PC or MAC.

So to sum it up, from your iPhone you can securely access your desktop computer(s). Isn't that great?

Chrome Remote Desktop is available as a Google Chrome extension, as an Android app, and as of this January, as an iOS app as well.

By installing the Chrome Remote Desktop extension, you can securely share your desktop computer over the web. You can remotely access any of your computers, you can access a friend’s computer, you can let a friend access your computer. If your files are spread across multiple computers, you can easily access them. If a friend needs help, you can easily offer it. If you need help, you can invite a friend to connect to your computer and help you out.

By installing the Chrome Remote Desktop app on your Android mobile device, you can remotely connect to your desktop computer. From your Android smartphone or tablet, you can remotely connect to your PC or Mac – as long as the aforementioned Chrome Remote Desktop extension has already been installed on it, of course.

By installing the Chrome Remote Desktop app on your iOS mobile device, you can remotely connect to your desktop computer. From your iPhone or iPad, you can remotely connect and remotely control your PC or Mac.
