Children's Day Special - I Learn With the Mighty Jungle: Animals! HD
Because today is the 1st of June, day that is internationally recognized as Children’s Day, all the news here on FindMySoft are children-related. So far, as part of the Children’s Day Special I’m running, I’ve covered a few great apps:
Bubble Dreams – a game where the goal is to match bubbles and keep nightmares at bay, thus providing the child with a good night’s sleep.
Peekaboo! Guess Who? – an education game that will teach children what sounds different animals make.
Spot the Dot – from the author of “One Red Dot”, David A. Carter, comes this fun app for toddlers and preschoolers, app that helps them learn colors.
There is another app I would like to draw focus to on a special occasion such as International Children’s Day. The app is I Learn With the Mighty Jungle: Animals! HD. This is an iPad app developed by Tribal Nova and released under the iLearnWith banner; iLearnWith is a cross curricular game-based learning program that helps prepare children for school in a fun manner.
Should you decide to get the app ($2.99 on the App Store), here is the sort of functionality you can expect to get from it:
- Will teach preschool children (ages 3 to 7) various facts about animals. It teaches the child facts about animal physical appearance, size, living environment, eating behavior, sleeping habits, and so on.
- Features the characters from “The Mighty Jungle” show that’s broadcast on PBS and the Disney Channel.
- The goal in the game is to help Babu the Meerkat seek out his friends who are hiding in the jungle. To find Babu’s friends, the child has to match the clues to the animals.
- There are three levels of difficulty.
If you would like to get the I Learn With the Mighty Jungle: Animals! HD app, you can grab it straight from the App Store here.
