With Christmas Eve less than two weeks away, Redmond-based software giant Microsoft has rolled out a new Windows 7 theme pack meant to get you into the festive mood. The theme pack I am talking about is called Snow Angels; it is described on the Windows 7 Personalization Gallery as “Snowflakes fall as delicately as angel wings in this wintry Windows 7 theme.”

The Snow Angels theme is a collection of 5 good looking images that have two things in common. #1 images of snowflakes, tons of snowflakes. #2 images of angels, winged girls that remind me of manga cartoons. Check out the preview at the bottom to see what I am talking about.

I mentioned above that Microsoft has rolled out a new Windows 7 theme pack meant to get you into the festive mood. Back in November Microsoft rolled out the Holiday Lights theme pack. This Windows 7 theme is a collection of 17 top quality images that feature Christmas lights and Christmas trees and various decorations (I've put a preview at the bottom as well, so check it out to see what I am talking about). This theme is described on the Windows 7 Personalization Gallery as “Brighten your desktop with sparkling images of holiday celebration and winter wonder in this Windows 7 theme.”

In related winter holidays news, you may want to check out Movavi VideoMessage if you want to send your friends and loved ones an original postcard this Christmas. With this free piece of software you can easily create a good looking video postcard that you can send to anyone you want. Creating the video postcard is as simple as going though three easy steps – check out this article to see what they are.

Getting back to the Snow Angels theme for Windows 7, I won’t let you wait any longer. Click here to download it. Click here to view a preview, or take a look at the images presented below for a quick preview.

If you would like to get the Holiday Lights theme as well, click here to download it. Take a look below for a preview.

If you would like to get other themes for Windows 7, visit the Personalization Gallery here. At the time of writing this the gallery is home to more than 100 Windows 7 themes and about 80 desktop wallpapers.
