Smartwatches like the Galaxy Gear or the Gear Fit display info on their Super AMOLED screens. The Ritot smartwatch displays info on...drum rolls please... your skin.

Ritot is the first ever projection smartwatch; it projects the time, incoming calls, emails, and other types of notifications right onto your skin.

Ritot, the first ever projection smartwatch, uses your skin as a canvas. You see, the watch projects the time, incoming calls, and other notifications right on your skin. Don’t worry, it’s completely safe for your skin and doesn’t have any negative effects on your health.

A watch’s key function is to tell the time. Ritot projects the time right onto your hand. There are two ways to activate the projection: by touching a button or by shaking your hand. It must be mentioned here that the projection will automatically stop after 10 seconds. It must also be mentioned that Ritot comes with a wireless charger that lets you set the watch and lets you change the projection color.

Apart from the time, Ritot projects a few other things on your skin: reminders, messages, emails, calendar alerts tweets, Facebook messages, weather alerts, notifications from apps, or incoming calls. As previously mentioned, the projection will automatically stop after 10 seconds. You can get rid of it faster, by simply shaking your hand.

Ritot has a unisex design and is waterproof. It comes in two models: aluminum bracelet and sport band.

The aluminum bracelet comes in white, black, completely black, brown-gold and black-gold.

The sport band comes in black, white, red, green, blue and yellow.

Additional info on Ritot is available here.

Please note that Ritot is a crowd-funded project. You can learn more about it on Indiegogo.
If enough money is raised, the Ritot projection smartwatch will ship to backers in early 2015.
