Angry Birds Epic – Official Gameplay Trailer

Rovio Entertainment recently introduced a new game called Angry Birds Epic. This is an adventure role-playing game (RPG); the action of the game is set on a fantasy version of Piggy Island. Here are the main things you can expect to get from Angry Birds Epic.

Angry Birds Epic – Main Features
  • Adventure role-playing game set on a fantasy version of Piggy Island that features tribal villages, frosty mountains, tropical beaches, and mysterious caves.
  • Turn-based combat against the piggies.
  • Gripping storyline and campaign, challenging game.
  • Rich system of crafting weapons (frying pan, wooden sword, stick thingy with a sponge top), armour and potions.
  • Two character classes have been confirmed: Knight (Red Bird) and Mage (Yellow Bird). More classes will become available in the future.
  • Level up your characters, collect resources.

Angry Birds Epic soft launched on iOS in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The full launch will come later this spring.

“Why only Canada, Australia and New Zealand?” said Rovio Entertainment. “This is a soft launch, which is what game developers do when the game development is ready, but they want some critical feedback from players in the real world. Tons and tons of testing has been done, but we want to get our fans’ feedback and opinions in for those last tweaks before releasing the game to the whole wide world! For now, unless you live in those three countries, you’ll still have to wait a bit more - but not too long!”
