Cerulean Studios, the software developer behind multiprotocol instant messaging application Trillian, announced the fact that it released updates for several of its products. The software developer updated Trillian 5.0 Beta, updated an older Trillian for Windows version (v 3.1) and updated Trillian for Android 1.0 Beta.

Trillian 5.0 Beta for Windows
As you may remember, Trillian 5 was released as a public Beta this August. The same month Cerulean Studios released Build 23 to fix more than 100 bugs. The developer kicked off the month of September by releasing yet another Trillian 5.0 build, mainly Build 24.

“Build 24 is being sent to Trillian for Windows testers. Tweets should be flowing properly again and we continue to work on improving stability and performance throughout the product,” announced Cerulean Studios.

Trillian 3.1 for Windows

It’s not just the Beta version that got updated; Trillian 3.1 has also been updated. Cerulean Studios released version 3.1.15.0 to “restore connectivity to AIM and MSN.”

The current stable version of Trillian is v. 4.2, which graduated out of Beta this May. When Trillian 5.0 will do the same, graduate out of Beta that is, Cerulean Studios will drop support for Trillian 3.1.

Trillian 1.0 for Android

Not too long ago Cerulean Studios rolled out Build 74, the first update for Trillian for Android 1.0 Beta. The software developer has now released another update for Trillian for Android, mainly Build 80.

Build 80 is now available for all testers. We’ve started working on improvements to our tabbed windows, tweaked the margins in our bubbles, and fixed a large batch of crash bugs and issues where Trillian wouldn’t reconnect or resume properly. Build 80 also includes new code to improve the speed of message window opening,” announced Cerulean Studios.

If you are already Beta testing Trillian for Android, you need only sign out; when you sign back in, you will see an update notification.
