With just a month to go until the release of Titanfall 2, Respawn Entertainment and EA have unveiled the game’s minimum, recommended and ultra 4K60 system requirements.

Check them out to find out if your PC is going to be able to run the upcoming first-person shooter at 1600x900, 1920x1080, or 4K resolution.

Titanfall 2 – Minimum System Requirements
  • OS – 64-bit version of Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or Windows 10.
  • CPU – Intel Core i3-3600t or equivalent.
  • GPU – NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB.
  • RAM – 8GB RAM.
  • Storage – 45GB of free space.
  • Others – DirectX 11, internet connection (512Kbps or faster).
Drew McCoy, Titanfall 2 Producer at Respawn Entertainment, explained that if your PC meets these minimum requirements, you’ll be able to run the game at a 1600x900 resolution, at an average of 60fps, with most details turned on.

"We strongly believe that if you at least match the posted requirements you should have an excellent visual and gameplay experience playing the game, so don’t be alarmed if you boot it up and don’t need to turn all the settings to Low for playable framerates – our artists would actually like if you could see their work! Because of this you will probably be able to actually run the game on a lower-than-minimum spec PC, but the quality and performance won’t quite be ideal," McCoy explained.

Titanfall 2 – Recommended System Requirements
  • OS – 64-bit version of Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or Windows 10.
  • CPU – Intel Core i5-6600 or equivalent.
  • GPU – NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB.
  • RAM – 16GB RAM.
  • Storage – 45GB of free space.
  • Others – DirectX 11, internet connection (512Kbps or faster).
Meet the recommended system requirements and you’ll be able to play Titanfall 2 at a 1920x1080 resolution, at an average of 60fps, with details nearly maxed out.

Titanfall 2 – Ultra 4K60 requirements
  • OS – 64-bit version of Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or Windows 10.
  • CPU – Intel Core i7-6700k or equivalent.
  • GPU – NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 8GB.
  • RAM – 16GB RAM.
  • Storage – 45GB of free space.
  • Others – DirectX 11, internet connection (512Kbps or faster).
Meet these requirements and you’re in for a treat: 4K (that’s 3840x2160) resolution, at an average of 60fps.

Besides revealing the system requirements, Respawn and EA have also rolled out a new Titanfall 2 trailer, a trailer that puts the spotlight on the pilots.

And here’s the older trailer that puts the spotlight on the Titans.

Titanfall 2 is scheduled to be released on October 28 for Windows, Xbox One, and PS4. Focusing on Windows alone, I want to mention that Titanfall 2 is available for pre-order as a Standard Edition, which is priced at $59.99, and as a Deluxe Edition which is a bit more expensive, priced at $79.99. Here’s what that extra twenty bucks gets you.

A mobile Titanfall game is coming too

Titanfall 2 isn’t the only Titanfall game that’s going to be released this fall. Respawn Entertainment is working with Nexon and Particle City on Titanfall Frontline, a strategy card game for iOS and Android where you assume the role of brigade Commander and take on other players in real-time combat.

"This is an incredibly exciting time for the team at Respawn and for the Titanfall fans around the world with two completely unique games in the Titanfall universe launching soon - Titanfall 2 and Titanfall: Frontline," said Vince Zampella, CEO, Respawn Entertainment. "Not only does Titanfall: Frontline capture an experience that feels distinctly Titanfall but it delivers quick and strategic action that anyone with a smartphone will be able to download and enjoy."

"We’ve worked hand-in-hand with Respawn to weave in card battle strategy and collectibility with the iconic gameplay elements that make Titanfall so unique and that will help evolve the genre," said Larry Pacey, co-founder of Particle City. "From dropping a Titan onto the field of play to turn the tide of battle to using a combination of Parkour and Rodeo Burn Cards to take a Titan down, Titanfall: Frontline is unapologetically intense and utterly Titanfall."
