Tekken 7’s release on June 2 is a big deal, not because it gives fans of the series the chance to uncover how the Mishima clan saga ends, but because it gives PC gamers the chance to finally join the battle. For the first time in 22 years, Tekken will be available for Windows.

And that… brings up the obvious question: can your PC handle the upcoming Tekken 7 fighting video game? Take a look at the system requirements listed below and see for yourself.

Tekken 7 – Minimum System Requirements
  • CPU – Intel Core Intel Core i3-4160 3.60GHz or equivalent processor.
  • GPU – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660, NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti, or equivalent graphics card with at least 2GB VRAM.
  • RAM – 6GB of RAM.
  • HDD – 60GB of free storage space.
  • OS – 64-bit version of Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10.
  • Others – DirectX 11, broadband internet connection, DirectX compatible sound card or onboard chipset.
Fun fact: Tekken 7 is actually the 9th installment in the series. Play the game and you’ll get to see how the Mishima feud comes to an end.

Tekken 7 – Recommended System Requirements
  • CPU – Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz or better.
  • GPU – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or better.
  • RAM – 8GB of RAM or more.
  • HDD – 60GB of free storage space.
  • OS – 64-bit version of Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10.
  • Others – DirectX 11, broadband internet connection, DirectX compatible sound card or onboard chipset.
According to developer & publisher Bandai Namco, a GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card is enough to play Tekken 7 at max settings, at 1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440 resolution, and maintain a constant 60 FPS. According to NVIDIA’s Andrew Burnes, you’re going to need a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti to run Tekken at 4K and a constant 60 FPS.

"If your system doesn't sport the world's fastest gaming GPU, don't despair: Anti-Aliasing, Effects, Shadows, Post-Process Effects, and Motion Blur can all be dialed back to give your system enough frames for an excellent experience," said Andrew Burnes. "Or you can try the "Dynamic Adjustment" setting, which will dynamically raise and lower the quality of settings as you play to ensure a smooth, consistent 60 FPS is achieved."

Tekken 7 is available for pre-order on Steam, priced at $49.99 for the Standard Edition and $74.99 for the Deluxe Edition. The latter features 2 additional playable characters, a new game mode, and lots of extra costumes.

Fans who pre-orders Tekken 7 will get Eliza, the vampire dark beauty of the Tekken roster before anyone else.
