Can Your PC Handle Ghost Recon Wildlands? Here Are the Game's Requirements!

Ubisoft has unveiled the official minimum and recommended system requirements for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, the open world military shooter that’s scheduled to be released on March 7.

When that day comes, will you be able to explore the wide-open world of Bolivia and fight to take down the Santa Blanca drug cartel? Only if your PC meet the game’s requirements. Take a look below to see what those requirements are.


Ghost Recon Wildlands – Minimum System Requirements
  • CPU – 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-2400S or 4GHz AMD FX-4320 processor.
  • GPU – GeForce GTX 660, GTX 750 Ti, GTX 950, GTX 1050 or AMD HD 7870, R9 270X, R9 370X, RX 460. At least 2GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better.
  • RAM – 6GB of RAM.
  • HDD – 50GB of storage space.
  • OS – 64-bit version of Windows 7 SP1 or newer.

The action in this game takes place in modern day Bolivia. You’re a member of the Ghosts, an elite team that has been dispatched by the US Army to deal with the Santa Blanca drug cartel. You are to destroy the cartel and expose its ties to the local government.

Ghost Recon Wildlands – Recommended System Requirements
  • CPU – 3.5GHz Intel Core i7-3770 or 4GHz AMD FX-8350 processor.
  • GPU – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, GTX 1060 or AMD R9 290X, R9 390, RX 480. At least 4GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better.
  • RAM – 8GB of RAM.
  • HDD – 50GB of free storage space.
  • OS – 64-bit version of Windows 7 SP1 or newer.

If you’re a fan of co-op, you’ll like that the game lets you team up with 3 friends and take on the Santa Blanca drug cartel together. If you’re not a fan of multiplayer co-op, go with the single player mode and you’ll get to play with 3 AI teammates.

Pre-order to get a bonus mission

Ghost Recon Wildlands is available for pre-order on Ubisoft's online store and on everyone’s favorite gaming distribution platform, Steam. Everyone who pre-orders the game will be rewarded with a bonus missions called The Peruvian Connection. In this mission you have to "travel to the high mountains of Bolivia to break the deadly alliance between the Santa Blanca and the Peruvian cartels."

Leaving the Collector’s Editions for later, here’s how much it will cost you to pre-order Ghost Recon Wildlands for PC:
  • $59.99 for the Standard Edition, which features the base game only.
  • $69.99 for the Deluxe Edition, which features the base game + an exclusive weapon, gear and other premium content.
  • $99.99 for the Gold Edition , which features the base game + Deluxe Pack + Season Pass subscription which provides access to 2 major expansion.
The Collector’s Editions are also grouped as Standard, Deluxe, and Gold, priced at $119.99, $129.99, and $159.99 respectively. All Collector’s Editions come with a 10.5-inch Santa Muerte figurine and a limited edition set of 6 exclusive posters by Ken Taylor.

Ubisoft’s online action fighting game For Honor, which is scheduled to be released on February 14, is currently in Open Beta on Uplay and Steam. So if you want to try the game before it launches, you can grab the Beta and play For Honor for free this weekend only (the Open Beta ends on February 12).
