CCleaner, which has recently been updated to version 4.10, adds support for several new applications, including the Spotify music streaming service. This means CCleaner will remove the junk files that Spotify leaves behind.

The Professional version of CCleaner 4.10 comes with a new scheduling feature. Use this new scheduler to run CCleaner whenever you need it to run.

Piriform’s properly good junk removal tool CCleaner has recently been updated to version 4.10. Now, as you may already know, CCleaner can remove the junk files left behind by applications that are installed on your PC. With the release of version 4.10, new entries have been added to the list of supported applications: Spotify, Picasa 3, Facebook Metro, Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate, Kingsoft Office 2013, and Sublime Text.

At the time of writing this, the latest stable Firefox release is Firefox 26. I bring this up because CCleaner 4.10 improved part of its Firefox-related functionality: Firefox 26 cleaning and Firefox extension management. A few other bits of functionality have been improved as well: shutdown after cleaning, Audacity cleaning, localization and language support.

CCleaner is available as a Free and as a paid Professional edition. With the release of CCleaner 4.10, the paid Professional edition received a scheduling feature. Customers who have CCleaner Professional can use the cleaning scheduler towel, run CCleaner automatically, based on a schedule.

CCleaner 4.10 Free is available for download right here on FindMySoft.
CCleaner 4.10 Professional is available for purchase on Piriform’s official website.

In related news, Piriform recently updated its data recovery tool Recuva to version 1.50. Recuva 1.5 comes with two main new features: support for ISO images (ISO 9660 file systems) and recovery from unmounted drives (the application can now recover data from unmounted drives).

Recuva 1.50 is also available for download right here on FindMySoft.
