BitTorrent Sync 1.4, a major update for BitTorrent’s cloudless sync tool, introduces a completely redesigned interface. The goal here is to offer the best possible user experience; and with that goal in mind, the BitTorrent development team gave Sync a brand new interface.

BitTorrent Sync 1.4 also introduces a new way to share. You can now use links to share data; and you can send links out via email or by copying the links and pasting them in an IM, email, and so on. When the link recipients click on it, Sync guides them through the necessary steps.
Please note that the option to share data via Keys (previously known as Secrets) is still available.

BitTorrent Sync Main Features
  • Sync as many files as you want, securely and rapidly.
  • Share using Keys or links.
  • Share and automatically sync folders across multiple devices.
  • P2P tech ensures files are transferred at the maximum speed supported by your network.
  • All file transfers are encrypted.
  • Works brilliantly with large files. As a matter of fact, the larger the better.
  • One-way synchronization.
  • Option to exclude specific files/directories.
  • Advanced preferences configuration.
  • Access to archives of previous versions of your synced files.
  • Privacy controls including Read-Only/Read & Write options, link expirations and approval settings.
  • Available for multiple platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS.
BitTorrent Sync is little over 1-year old. It’s been around for little over a year and so far more than 10 million user installs were recorded. The millions of BitTorrent Sync users managed to transfer over 80 Petabytes of data – that’s as much data as the storage capacity of 2.5 million 32GB iPhones.

BitTorrent Sync for Windows is available for download right here on FindMySoft.

Additional information on BitTorrent Sync is available on its official webpage.
The official webpage was updated – just like the application’s interface.
