Barely Do a Thing, Win a Palm Pixie

We all like to win things, but most times winning something means you have to take part in a competition and prove you are better than the other competitors. Like for example Opera Software’s Battle for the Best Opera Unite Application. Sure, you can win the value of a new mobile phone or the value of a Nintendo Wii in gift certificates, but only if you come up with a properly good Opera Unite application – or at least that week’s best Opera Unite application since it is a weekly competition.

Sometimes I would much rather rely on lady luck to win a competition: do nothing and hope that I’m lucky enough to win. Palm has launched just such a competition. You barely have to do anything and you could win a Palm Pixie.

All you have to do is click this link – it will take you to the official Palm webpage. On that webpage you must sign up to be notified when the Palm Pixi becomes available for purchase. After you sign up, an email will be sent to you; the email presents everything you need to know to win one of the 25 Palm Pixi phones that Palm decided to give away (to celebrate the release of the Palm Pixi).

Communications and Marketing Director with Palm, Jon Zilber, comments: “It's Palm's thinnest phone ever, but somehow still packs in everything you need to stay in constant contact with your social network (including a multi-touch screen and a visible full keyboard). And with back cover designs and accessories that let you express yourself, Palm Pixi lets you communicate on your terms.”

Please note that the competition is restricted to US residents only. You should also note that an official release date for the Palm Pixi has not been set. The only thing we know for sure is that it will be available exclusively from Sprint in time for the holidays.
